THE MVCC PLANNING & LAND USE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE, INVITES YOU TO ATTEND THE PLUM MEETING
WHOLE FOODS MARKET DEVELOPMENT DISCUSSION
to meet the new owner. They will discuss the project and take your comments. We need to hear from you, the community.
MVCC approved a $500 motion to donate to our Holiday Food Drive. Chair Drew and Community Director Honda went shopping and loaded up the car. Thank you to Mavro Coffee who supported our efforts by being a drop off location, and to Nourish LA for being the distributor to the community. And thanks to our Mar Vista Community for participating and helping during the holidays.
With Community Council elections fast approaching our focus at the Farmers Market in January was to inform Mar Vista about the upcoming events and we used the table for recruiting possible candidates, and to let stakeholders know they need to apply for a mail in ballot. It was also a beautiful day and it was great to be out. At-Large Director Greg Kopelow and Zone 3 Director Andrew Marton stopped in and engaged with the community.
Mar Vista Community Council had a table at the Mar Vista Farmers Market this weekend. We had information and applications at the table for stakeholders who are interested in candidacy. The Farmers Market even advertised on their easels.
