On Wednesday (March 18), the Los Angeles County Department of Workforce Development, Aging and Community Services started a temporary program that provides Critical Delivery Services for older, disabled, and dependent adults 24/7. Items must be paid for and ready for delivery before scheduling. To schedule deliveries, call the hotline (888-863-7411) Monday thru Friday, 8am to 5pm. Same day deliveries are available only during schedule hours. The service is limited to either four times per month, or 40 miles per month, whichever comes first.
