I'm excited to represent Mar Vista residents and make our community an even better place to live. My strength is in collaborating with others to develop and implement effective solutions.
In college at UC Berkeley, I started Nanoly Bioscience, a biotech company that develops polymers to keep vaccines working without refrigeration. For our work, we received awards from the National Institute of Health and the World Biomaterials Congress. I then started Enplug, where I serve as CEO. We created the first open software platform to power digital displays inside hotels, banks, universities, and corporate offices. For our team's innovation, I was proud to be named in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list.
As someone who was on the free lunch program as a kid, I understand the importance of a supportive community and government. As a result, I am passionate about giving back. I serve on the Board of Directors for the National Foster Youth Institute, where we empower foster youth and their families with leadership opportunities. I am also a member of the Charter Hill Society at UC Berkeley where we work to increase financial support for public education.
I am eager to contribute my skills to the Mar Vista Community Council and ensure we are continuously improving the quality of life for our neighbors.
