The Mar Vista Community Council Education, Arts, & Culture Committee is a gathering of diverse community stakeholders dedicated to improving our entire community's quality of life by enhancing education, culture and the arts in and around Mar Vista.

The committee welcomes all stakeholders and normally meets the first Sunday of each month at the Mar Vista Farmer's Market (Map). You'll find us adjacent to the MVCC tent.

Mar Vista Songwriter DidiPop Wins Grand Prize in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest---and Will be Featured at Mar Vista Community Fall Festival
Deborah Poppink (who goes by DidiPop) is a Mar Vista Songwriter and mother of two girls, 4 and 6 years old, and a kindie music artist/performer/ songwriter.   Her last album, "DidiPop Goes To Hawaii" features a song, "The Hawaiian Alphabet Song", that just won the grand prize in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest (children's cat

Parents made their voices heard at Education Summit
